JTC appoints senior director of fund services

JTC has appointed John Collins as senior director of fund services. This follows the August launch of JTC’s fund administration service in Ireland.

The role, based across London and Dublin, will see Collins manage the growth of the Irish fund administration service.

Collins has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry. He has worked with several fund administrators, global custodians, and high-profile institutions over the span of his career.

Through his years of experience he has also developed a substantial network in Ireland and the Cayman Islands.

Prior to joining JTC, Collins served as associate vice president of funds business development at Euronext Dublin.

Commenting on his new role, Collins says: “With the fund administration licence approval
from the Central Bank of Ireland, they have completed the final part of a holistic fund and corporate offering in the jurisdiction, all supported by a huge depth and breadth of knowledge from across a global, listed parent company. I am keen to connect with new and existing networks to explain our approach and the benefits it can bring.”

Jonathan Jennings, group head of institutional client service at JTC, adds: “We are delighted that John has joined us at this important time of expansion for our business in Ireland and look forward to seeing the benefit of his experience and network in raising the profile of our experts in Dublin. Ireland is a key strategic jurisdiction for JTC and through our agile teams, we can deliver a comprehensive range of fund and corporate services solutions, with high levels of customisation, no outsourcing or functionalisation of any core services.”
